ChiRunning takes the inner focus and flow of tai chi and combines it with the power and fluidity of running to transform running from an fitness sport to a holistic practice. The ChiRunning form increases energy and efficiency and
reduces impact on the body, while decreasing the risk of injury. As a result, you will experience a sense of ease and joy in your running practice.
Objectives: In this 2-hour clinic, the participants will be introduced to the principles of ChiRunning and the keys to effortless, injury-free running. Through discussion, demonstrations and exercises, the participants will have the
opportunity to experience being aligned and relaxed, and practice the concept of using gravity as the means to propel themselves forward.
