LMJS will be offering another beginning running program this winter to help you get in shape for a 5K! This program is designed for those who want to work up to a 5K which is 3.1 miles, or approximately one lap around Lake Merritt.
These training sessions will be held for four consecutive Saturdays at 10:00am with a 5K race the fifth week.Our runs will sample a few of the gorgeous East Bay area trails. The first will be held Saturday, November 17th at 10:00am, with the others on November 24th, December 1st, and December 8th culminating with the 5K Dam Jingle Bell Dash Saturday, December 15 (http://wolfpackevents.com/calendar/142/race fee extra).
This training is appropriate for anyone who wants to work up to a 5K and for those who haven't run for awhile and want to begin again.
