We're excited to be the official East Bay training program for the 2015 Oakland Running Festival

    The fine print: Note that this is not a "couch to finish line" program.  We do expect our trainees to be running when the programs start. 
    • Ideally, full marathon trainees should be running at least 20 miles a week.
    • Half marathon trainees should be running 3 to 4 miles, two or three times a week.
    • Both programs start with runs of at least 6 miles for the first long run.

    Marathon Training Program: An 18-week program that starts November 22, 2014.

    Half Marathon Training Program: 12-week program that starts officially on January 3. However, half marathon trainees are welcome and encouraged to start as early as November 22.
