All of LMJS's races (except Tilden Tough Ten) begin at 9 a.m. in the parking lot of the Oakland Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) offices (the Old Boathouse), 1520 Lakeside Drive, across the street from the Scottish Rite Temple, on the shore of Lake Merritt, near downtown Oakland - rain or shine.

Registration for the regular 4th Sunday Runs is held on race day only. The fee is $3 for Club members, and $4 for non-members. The course distance is certified and the course is flat. All finishers receive ribbons. Place ribbons are awarded three deep.
