We're going virtual with the LMJS marathon and half marathon training program! Stay motivated with us! The 16-week training program runs from November 30, 2020 through March 2021, and will get you ready for the virtual Oakland Running Festival or another spring race -- virtual or live. Whether training for your first half marathon or your tenth marathon, we’ll help you go the distance and support your goals. The program includes a supportive virtual community, online training platform, weekly training run schedule, suggested running routes, and training shirt. Marathon trainees should be running at least 20 miles per week before the program begins. Half marathon trainees should be running at least 12 miles per week before the program begins. Both programs begin with long runs of over 6 miles.
